Racine Unified School District summer school enrollment is now open for the summer of 2022. Students who currently attend a Racine Unified School District school are welcome to sign up. Additionally, students who are not currently enrolled in RUSD are welcome to enroll. Registration is now open through May 31. Summer School is free to attend through RUSD.

RUSD’s Summer school will operate from Monday, June 20 until Thursday, July 28. There are no summer school classes held on Fridays. RUSD will not have summer school on Monday, July 4, and Tuesday, July 5.

Students who are in grades 4K through 8 may utilize summer school as a way to improve their skills, expand their knowledge and strengthen their problem-solving abilities. In addition to the general summer school program offered and the credit recovery program, RUSD is offering an Extended Learning summer program.

Students in high school (grades 9 through 12) may enroll in the summer program if they were unable to complete their course work during the school year. The summer program for high schoolers is credit-recovery based.
