Freezing Drizzle, Drifting Snow And Arctic Temps For Southeast WI Forecast

MILWAUKEE, WI — Drifting snow and high winds may cause slippery roads and lower visibility for drivers on southeast Wisconsin roads, while the National Weather Service said a winter weather advisory is in effect until Wednesday evening.

Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine and Kenosha counties are under a winter weather advisory until 6 p.m. Wednesday for snow drifts, winds with the possibility of going up to 45 mph and reduced visibility on roadways. Forecasters said nearly an inch of snow is expected from Madison to Milwaukee.

Drivers should slow down and use caution when taking north to south roads and avoid hazardous conditions caused by turbulent winter weather, forecasters said.
