RACINE, WI — Federal and local law enforcement agencies arrested a 36-year-old man on the morning of Feb. 17 at a home in Racine in connection with a warrant for possession with the intent to deliver cocaine, according to a news release from the Racine County Sheriff’s Office.

Members of the U.S. Marshals Service accompanied local law enforcement from the Racine County Metro Drug Unit to search the man’s home on 2000 Blaine Avenue. Steven E. Avila, who the warrant was issued for, was arrested after the sheriff’s office said law enforcement found marijuana, cocaine, money and guns at the residence.

Leading up to the search, agents had surveilled the home, which the sheriff’s office says confirmed drug activity and the presence of Avila.
