Sandra Fayetta Patterson was born on October 30, 1946, to Essie Finch and raised by her Stepfather Aubrey Finch Sr. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She attended North Division High School and received many accolades in Child Care and Social Work because of her love for children.
Sandra deeply cared for family and friends when in need, but she was especially fond of her three daughters, or as she would affectionally call them, her “Girls,” her grandchildren, and life partner Marvin Jones. Many loved Sandra because of her vibrant personality and willingness to make you laugh without even trying.
Sandra had always loved God and was interested in the Bible, which eventually led her to learn more. She began studying with one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Jean Flowers, in 1984, where she and her daughters attended their first Memorial. She later studied with Magnolia Jones and continued to show an interest.
She was preceded in death by Aubrey Finch Sr (Stepfather), Essie Finch (Mother), Patricia Easter (Sister), and Aubrey Finch Jr. (Brother).
Sandra is survived by Life Partner: Marvin Jones. Her children: Sabrina Whatley (Tracy), Alexis Scott, Shawntay Johnson (Jaime), Cheri Finch, Aubrey Finch III. Grandchildren: Mesha Williams (Cory), Donovan Knox. Her siblings: Martin Patrick Patterson, Peggy Nash (Jimmy), Brinkley Lucille Finch, Antoinette Wilson (Terry), Olivia Smoot, and Elise Newsom.
Including Ena Finch, Sandra was also loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
